East Wesley Ave
From Generic to Gentile
This University of Denver area modern home has been thoroughly updated from a small generic residential backyard into a clean and water saving full season outdoor entertainment space. The designers removed an outdated hardwood deck and sod yard, replacing it with a timeless paver patio and brick fire feature that emphasizes and enhances the stylings of the residence and the surrounding neighborhood.
Paying close attention to the existing features that were to be carried over from the previous landscape, the design team has achieved a spatial transformation of the first order that provides ultimate relaxation and usability while preserving water costs and accentuating the inherent beauty of the space. Finally, the design team installed a limited but impactful planting plan that provides not only privacy for the outdoor entertainment area but winter interest from the perfectly placed evergreen selections. Other appointments to this wonderful landscape include a custom built cedar lattice panel and a garden area with custom fabricated timber garden boxes.
