Project Manager/Site Superintendent
We have an opening for a Project Manager/Site Superintendent that will do all it takes to keep job sites up and running–from securing materials and staff to inspecting properties and monitoring irrigation systems. You’ll maintain and prioritize schedules, use resources knowledgeably and conduct quality checks. You’ll also be involved in hiring, training, developing and inspiring your team. You will serve as the first line of customer contact on site, understanding their concerns and providing the appropriate immediate response. As a hands-on leader, you’ll also be expected to drive our vehicles, lift/carry tree limbs and equipment, and see that all machinery and standards are strictly maintained, meeting quality and safety expectations • Assist in creating plans and designs, and preparing cost estimates for each project • Communicating with customers, subcontractors, vendors and employees and attending project related meetings • Working with clients to ensure that changes are captured, plans are updated and that working designs are available for install teams • Partnering with installation professionals to ensure that projects are on track and that all documents are accurate • Inspecting work for conformance with approved plans, specifications, and standards; including – grading, irrigation systems, water lines, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, turf, water-features, landscape materials, trees and shrubs • Reviewing and determining the feasibility of specific designs as well as project proposals • checks all routes, assigns response manages clients • Daily to do list for field staff • Weekly goals for the ongoing jobs with projected schedule • Help delegate the crews schedule for week
Continuing to drive productivity improvements defined as quality and efficiency • Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting Company culture
Basic Qualifications: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the landscape construction industry • Knowledge of construction and production techniques • In depth horticulture background • Strong work ethic • Effective oral and written communication skills • Strong leadership ability • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment • High sense of urgency and accuracy a must • Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) • Bilingual (Spanish) required

CREW MEMBERS
Denver Landscapes has an opening for motivated CREW MEMBERS to grow with our company. Seasonal positions that may last through December installing beautiful upper class landscape projects in the Denver Metro area. No lawn mowing is involved.
Responsibilities to include: physical tasks such as building walls, water-features, fences, installing irrigation systems, weeding, pruning, raking, planting, mulching & composting beds. Experience and a working knowledge of Colorado plant material is preferred (annuals, perennials & shrubs). Excellent time-management & communication skills are essential. Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task is a must.
Job training will be provided. Must be able to lift 30lbs. Must have your own vehicle and a valid CO DL is required for any driver. EOE
Crew Leader/Foreman

We have an opening for a Crew Leader/Foreman to come join our team that is a hard working individual that can lead our landscape team in installing exceptional landscapes.
Illustrate leadership skills to motivate/supervise a small team and also thrive completing tasks when working independently for our smaller projects (less than 50k budget) located in the Denver Metro and foothills. Once hired, proven success and teamwork in this position may lead to larger design-build project opportunities. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION.
Crew Leader Requirements: • Skilled in all aspects of landscape installation and maintenance, job site management and quality control and supervision of staff • 3+ years of experience with landscape installations • Strong crew management skills • Good work ethic • Must possess leadership qualities • Supervision duties include: working along side with and checking in on a crew of two to three, reporting, record keeping, accurately keeping track of employees daily hours, operating skid loader & other small gas engine equipment. • Has good local horticultural identification • Has well-developed understanding of basic landscaping installation processes, methods, and materials like the following: Masonry and concrete skill/knowledge • Hardscape installation; experience with flagstone, brick pavers & strip stone • General carpentry skills •
• Plan Reading and Translation skills • Irrigation installation skills and trouble shooting experience • Plant knowledge and planting skills • High degree of integrity, honesty and teamwork associated with all aspects of job duties • Knowledge of laser levels, transits, and other measuring devices • Be safety conscious • Understand all aspects of landscape construction including but not limited to: grading, irrigation hardscape, planting, proper machinery use and safety, turf installation, drainage, low voltage lighting, water features and some carpentry • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Sales Representative/Estimator
Position will be responsible for: Generating new residential and commercial business • Creating and strengthening customer relationships. • Negotiating and Closing deals. • Creating Proposals • Inspecting landscapes and recommending products and services.
You will be responsible for helping prepare estimates, proposals, selling, coordinating and overseeing landscape projects and takeoffs. • Must be able to sell and bid projects while maintaining acceptable gross margins for contract and work.
• This position will require you to visit with homeowners of both large and small properties, meet HOA Board Members, as well as Property Managers • The position entails management of residential and commercial clients • You will meet with potential clients at the their properties and provide designs and/or cost estimates
for all types of landscape projects • The applicant must be outgoing, good with people, well organized and motivated • Knowledge of CAD (or something comparable) is a plus • You’ll need to have a good grasp of hardscape and landscape construction, including retaining walls, patios, drainage, grading…etc. • A strong knowledge of plants is a must, especially for Zones 5-7.
To apply, you must have demonstrated 3-5 years of progressive experience working, selling, and developing territory in the green industry, excellent plant, insect and disease identification skills, strong organizational ability (including high-level user in Excel and Word), and un-matched communication skills (with individuals and groups). • You must have some design skills with free hand drawing, AutoCad, or other similar design program a must and landscape simulation software being a plus.
• Previous sales experience a must • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with experience selling to and managing relationships • Knowledge of native, non-native perennials, shrubs, trees, annuals and specimen plant material of the Rocky Mountains Region and the Denver area • Must have a clean driving record • Organized, detail oriented, and willing to be part of a team environment • Four-year degree (in green industry discipline) also required.
